Baby Sleeping Scrapbook Page

Creative ideas for making a Baby Sleeping Scrapbook Page.

While everyone loves a picture of the baby hamming it up for the camera, there's no other time that the baby looks as angelic as when he or she is asleep. A special page devoted to that special picture of the baby sleeping is a memory caught in time. It's particularly important to have that angelic photo available for those toddler times when baby no longer is that angel but the devilish little soul creating havoc and using the newly learned word, "No!"

When you layout that special page, choose a theme to narrow how you'll create the page. Look at the picture to help you find just the right theme for your baby sleeping scrapbook page. Is there a thumb in their mouth? Does the baby have a smile? Is the picture you want to memorialize taken at a special occasion? Start thinking outside the box for just the right caption and that leads you to the theme of the page.

If the baby has a special blanket, save a spot on the page for a piece of the blanket after baby relinquishes as a favorite or it no longer is fit for service. These little tidbits from the past are not just fond memories they're wonderful inclusions in stories you tell your child when they reach adult life. Seeing the blanket in the picture and then the tatter scrap it became is a story in itself.

Is there a special mobile that shows in baby's picture, one that the baby played with and reached for continuously? The theme "Finally asleep after a hard day of working with the butterflies." That is of course if the baby's mobile had butterflies. Whatever the mobile theme, use it as the background for your page.

Maybe the picture you want to highlight came at a special occasion. Perhaps it was a birthday party for a favorite uncle or aunt. The theme, "Party Boy Finally Falls Asleep" might be appropriate. You could surround the picture with symbols of party favors or put them around the border. Add a few party hats or symbols of the particular festivity.

Keep your colors simple and let the baby sleeping picture be the primary focus of the page. Don't forget to put pertinent information on the page like the date of the picture. A verse about peace, tranquility or angelic appearance is always appropriate on a baby sleeping scrapbook page.

Some of the funnier moments are also perfect scrapbook pages. Perhaps your baby fell asleep while eating or sitting. These types of photos bring to mind special wording. The baby often doesn't look as angelic in these cases as they look silly or even a like they've partied a bit too much. The picture is the key to your scrapbook page. Spend a few minutes looking at it. Show it to friends. Ask friends to tell you what they think it looks like. Often someone will come up with just the right word and you'll have your theme.

No matter which theme your select, you'll want to make this picture special. Babies grow so rapidly and those first precious pictures of your little darling sleeping serenely soon become faded memories.
