Baby Boy Scrapbook Page Layout

My friend asked me why l had a baby boy scrapbook page layout. I told her that since we all want the best of the best for our baby ,that keeping those beautiful milestone scrap is just the best thing. If you've ever looked at a scrapbook page, you know that the more creative the appearance, the more appealing it is to the eye. So, how can you do that with your baby boy scrapbook page layouts?

In just a few short steps and a small supplies list, you'll have some adorable layouts on your hands. And your pages will be a bit hit!

Little Brother

To create this baby boy scrapbook layout, you'll need several supplies:

. Double-sided adhesive

. Acid-free pen (green)

. Cardstock in 3 colors (primary green, pastel green, green and blue patterned)

. Photos of the big brother and little brother

. Blue letters that spell out "Little Brother"

. Ribbon (in a pattern with blue and green - 1/2 inch thick)

. Poem or quote related to brothers

1. First, crop down the photos of the little brother and his siblings so that all unnecessary material is out of the photo and you're left with an up-close shot.

2. Then, stick the photo on a colored sheet of cardstock (light green).

3. Trim around the cardstock, leaving about a quarter inch of paper showing behind the photo.

4. Then, glue this cardstock to an additional sheet of paper (dark green).

5. Again trim around the second sheet of cardstock.

6. Once the photos are all trimmed out, take out the

ribbon. Measure 4 strips of ribbon to fit horizontally on the paper.

7. Glue the strips of ribbon on the paper. Put two strips going horizontally along the left hand side (put them side by side with about a 1/2 inch between them). Place the other two in the same manner going vertically from the left.

8. Glue the poem or quote to a piece of cardstock and then trim it out.

9. Glue the poem/quote to the top left hand side of the page (over the ribbon cross section).

10. Place the letters for "Little Brother" on the bottom right hand side. Use a ruler to make sure they're straight or put them in a zigzag pattern.

11. Place the photos in the remaining space.

12. Make sure every item is glued securely and put the page inside the scrapbook.

In just a few steps (and even less minutes), you'll have an adorable baby boy scrapbook page layout. Featuring your favorite boys and will be just lovely to look at.
