Saying for scrapbooking

Saying for scrapbooking ideas

Making a scrapbook or baby book come alive is more than just the artwork and pictures. It's also the verbiage that accompanies them. The words and the pictures come together to create the perfect moment in time. This art separates the pretty scrapbook layouts from the fantastic ones. Choosing the right poems or best sayings to demonstrate the moment takes a little time, but once you find the right words, it adds the perfect finishing touch.

Are you making a scrapbook to give to your parents, showing your pride and joy and their grandchild? Some great poems and sayings increase the miles of smiles that come with the viewing.

Two Ideas for Grandma Poems and Sayings for your baby

Is there something special your child loves about going to Grandma's house? Snap a picture and find a verse. This adds to the memories and tells Grandma how much she means to all of you.

Suppose Grandma makes the best chocolate chip cookies around. Of course, there's a poem somewhere about cookies. If you know the secret ingredient, make a page about that and create your own poem. We'll pretend that grandma uses walnuts right from her walnut tree. Snap a picture of the tree, the walnuts and the final product, the cookies. Simply Google Grandma's cookie poems and you find something that fits the pictures. Here's on possibility by Bernice Peers called "Grandma's Cookie Jar." You don't have to use every verse. This is only the first verse since it's the one that fits the situation the best.

When I went to visit Grandma I was always thrilled For I knew she kept A cookie jar well filled.

A cute poem about the walnuts might also add to the page. You can see how simple the poetry is. You might want to even create your own verse to make the page even more personal.

Maybe Grandma has a special saying or poem she really loves. You can use that as a focus for your scrapbooking pages. Separate the poem into stanza's that are easy to show in pictures and use each section as a page for the scrapbook. If you don't know Grandma's favorite poem, find one that's about a Grandchild or Grandma's love and use it as the focus of the pictures.

Making Your Own Saying for scrapbooking

Half the fun of scrapbooking is creating your own sayings by each picture and for each page. You'll find that it's easier to do when you have a small group to help create. Make a fun afternoon of scrapbooking and invite friends over for a get together. Have them bring those pages that still need just the right words to go with the pictures. You'll find that everyone has an idea and through a little discussion, you'll have just the right words for each page.

You also might show the pictures to your family and write down those quotes. A cute tag to a child's picture might be straight from the mouth of a brother or sister, or even the child himself. Don't forget to give credit for the quote.

Great Saying for scrapbooking

Great sayings for scrapbooking are like great snapshots. Sometimes, you have the saying first and then find just the right picture and décor to accompany it. Scrapbooking is a way of collecting memories and they don't have to be simply start with the pictures and look for the sayings, the reverse is also a possibility. Find a saying that you love and use it for a theme for your scrapbook pages.
