Spring Baby Scrapbook

A spring baby scrapbook will have to be made with all the signs of spring that are all around you. There are flowers and birds and of course, Easter is a spring holiday so you should have plenty of ideas for what you want to use for your scrapbook. The next part is adding the baby to the spring theme.

Choose the Theme

This could be a baby's first Easter and baby ducks will be a great addition to the scrapbook. Add the Easter bunny, colored eggs and the colors of spring. Light yellows, greens and blues will fill the pages of your scrapbook. Start with the theme you want to project. If it is to be the baby's first Easter, make sure you have plenty of pastel colored paper and frames for pictures. The stickers should be spring theme and they should match the theme.

The Ideas Will Flow

An egg-shaped frame is great for placing a photo of the baby in for the Easter spring theme. Decorate the outside of the frame like an egg. Use small stickers of eggs and flowers and a bunny to put around the bottom of the frame. Put the photo in the frame and this can be the title page of your scrapbook. Use letters to put the name of your baby and 'First Easter' at the top of the frame.

There are many stickers from which you may choose to embellish the rest of the pages. Adorable ladybugs, caterpillars and tulips are all great ideas to add to the pages of your scrapbook. Don't forget to add your thoughts about the first Easter you spend with your child. Maybe an Easter poem you wrote or one that you particularly like will be on one of the next pages along with a picture of your baby in their Easter finery.

Make sure you choose spring colored pages for the spring scrapbook as well. Easter cards from family members and friends sent to wish your precious bundle a Happy Easter can be placed in the book. Take a photo of your child's first Easter basket and include this in the book on another page. Add a few photos of the stuffed animals he received for Easter and you will have another complete page before you know it.

Did he share his very first Easter with siblings? They can be included on a page celebrating Easter with their new baby sister or brother. The originality is part of the appeal of your scrapbook. When you have an idea for a page in your book, lay it out and see what you think. If you do not like it simply take everything up and start over again.

There is no hard and fast rule about placing objects on the spring baby scrapbook page layout. The main thing is to keep it neat and uncluttered so that you will go back and look at your scrapbook and remember all of the times that are recorded there. This is one reason for never gluing anything down until you are happy with the results. Your spring baby scrapbook will be a prized possession and the 'baby' will enjoy it when they are older.
