Pink Baby Girl Scrapbook

Scrapbooking for baby girl

For this baby girl scrapbook we will go with the color pink, can you think of a better combination? Pink can fit a variety of girl personalities just by how it is paired. Think hot pink and orange for spunky, pink and brown for trendy, pink and green for sweet.

If you are choosing pink as the theme for your baby girl’s scrapbook page, your first step is already done.

In this example, our subtheme and title is “Pretty In Pink.” All the pictures for this baby girl scrapbook page should be of in pink outfits, wrapped in pink blankets or if we get a little crazy, birthday suit pink! For illustrative purposes, we are going to use four pictures. You are free to use as many as you like. Trim two of the pictures into squares and the other two into equal size rectangles with a portrait orientation.

Find three pages with different colors and patterns that have pink located somewhere on the page. An example combination would be a pink and white striped paper, pink and green polka dot paper and a solid pink paper.

Another baby girl scrapbooking combination would be a pink flowered paper paired with a pink and green striped paper and a pink and white plaid paper. As long as they all have pink, you can make many different combinations .

Now let’s lay the page out. We will start by grouping the pictures into a square on a solid piece of pink paper. You should put one of the squares in the upper right corner and the other in the lower left. Leave a small space between pictures and around the edge.

Next select one of the patterned papers that you want to use and cut out two equal size rectangles. Place these in the upper left and lower right corners of your base paper. To add an additional element of interest, consider stitching these pieces to your base paper.

Once you have attached the baby girl scrapbook pieces, place your pictures and matte in the center of the page. Add your title and whatever journaling you feel is appropriate and your page is complete.
